Shipping
Beatnik & Sons customers live all across the globe, so we can ship to anywhere with a letterbox. For P.O. boxes outside Australia and Europe, please use the regular shipping option at checkout (our team of trained delivery owls aren’t allowed in government buildings just yet).

We usually dispatch orders within 2 working days. Delivery times vary based on selected service and destination. Regular post ranges from 3 to 28 working days depending on the shipping address.

We offer express delivery to most locations with tracking available. Express shipping is generally 1–3 working days for the US, UK and Australia, and anywhere from 2–8 working days for other countries.

In a few locations around the world we don’t offer an express option. This is because the current express services in those regions aren’t reliable enough, or there are currently no options available in that region.

Customs Fees
Extra duties and taxes may apply to the following regions: Asia, South America, Africa, New Zealand and some European countries that are not members of the EU. If you’d like to find out more please email our support team at postcards@beatniksons.ca.

Exchanges
We will happily help you process an exchange within 30 days of delivery. The item will need to be returned to us in its original condition with packaging intact. Please reach out to postcards@beatniksons.ca for help.

Order Tracking
All express shipped orders can be tracked online. However, not all regular shipments have this option. You can find your tracking number two ways:

Check the shipping confirmation email we sent you (this should arrive in your inbox within 48 hours of purchase). The email will contain a tracking link if there’s one available.

If that doesn’t work:
Email our support team and quote your order number/customer reference number. We’ll help you with the rest.

What if my order doesn’t arrive?
If your order doesn’t arrive within the maximum estimated timeframe we’ll send out a replacement using express shipping wherever it’s available. Simply email our support team with your order details.

How do I cancel my order?
Contact postcards@beatniksons.ca within 24–48hrs of placing your order. That way we should be able to catch any transaction settlement and shipping before it goes through. Anything after this window will be treated as a regular refund.

Can I add items to my order after I have hit the place order/confirmation button?
If you want to add an item to your order please email our support team within 24hrs of your purchase and we’ll do what we can to adjust things.

What are my payment options?
We happily accept Mastercard, Visa or American Express.

What’s the production process?
Our products are handmade in Brazil in our atelier through a fair and ethical production line. From cutting leather to sewing, each piece is made in a unique and exclusive way.

We use Heritage Leather, a 100% genuine leather which is finished with vegetable tannins that guarantee a more natural aspect to the material. This also means that our bags are dyed without the use of heavy metals or other chemicals that can severely impact the environment.

The molds for each product are manually cut and then taken to be sewn one by one. Our backpacks are hand-sewn with great care by our artisans, who put love and care into each detail that makes up your Beatnik.

Each piece is carefully finished and undergoes a rigorous quality test to ensure that the product is suitable for use. And once it's packed, it's ready to make history with you.

Where does the raw materials come from?
We are rigorous with our raw materials. All the materials used are of Brazilian origin, from producers in the southern region of Brazil. We use Heritage Leather, which is a leather of natural origin that does not use chemicals or heavy metals in its production, which reduces the environmental impact. Our fabric is waterproof Oxford, made of 100% cotton, 50% of which is post-consumer recycled.

How can I clean it?

Your last adventure had you picking up dust? We can help. Remember that you cannot machine wash! Read our care page and feel free to send us your questions.

What do we do with the leftovers?
All leftover leather is recycled to make new products. Any bags that are exchanged or returned go back to our studio to be redesigned and offered for sale again.

What do I do with my box?
Your Beatnik box is made with entirely recyclable cardboard! After receiving it, remember to discard it correctly and recycle if you can.
